Fisheries Centre Director Dr. Rashid Sumaila will be participating in the Rio+20 Earth Summit next week. His involvement includes:

• Sitting on a Sustainable Development Dialogues (Oceans) panel, alongside Dr. Sylvia Earle, Jean-Michel Cousteau, and 7 others.
• Presenting at a subsidy session at the Rio+20 Trade and Sustainable Development Symposium; and
• Participating in a television interview with GloboNews, a 24 hour Brazilian TV Station with an international audience.
